To get even closer to the life and feel of Valparaíso the best way is a tour by night where you will experience the best of the city’s night life: traditional local places for dancing, restaurants, live music and pubs; as well as panoramic view points giving amazing night-time vistas of the bay.

 

 

From your hotel, the first stop is the main port area from where we take a boat trip out into the bay to toast the setting sun on the starboard side followed by amazing sight of millions of shimmering lights appearing of Valparaiso, Viña del Mar and Reñaca, as the daylight fades on the port side.
Once back ashore we head to the "21 de Mayo" view point from where there is a great night time view of all of the “cerros” or folds in the hills of Valparaíso and a great photo opportunity stop!

 

We head towards the San Luis Square from where we will discover “Cerro Concepción” on foot with its 19th Century architecture like the St. Paul’s and Lutheran churches, and the Paseo Atkinson alleyway with its famous Brighton Restaurant. We walk across to “Cerro Alegre” along the Paseo Gervasoni alleyway where the famous Café Turri and the house of the cartoonist Lukas are located.

 

A number of other traditional alleyways will be walked to cross to Cerro Alegre to see “Paseo Yugoslavo” and the Baburitza Palace with another amazing view of the bay, before arriving at the “La Colombina” restaurant. Once the meal has finished we descend to the “Plaza Sotomayor” via the “El Peral” lift and return to your hotel.
