Horse riding through the dunes and coastal marshes of the Mantagua area, close to the River Aconcagua esturary...

Our excursion starts from Cruise Passenger Terminal at Valparaíso port  from where we head along the coastal road to Viña del Mar, round to Con-con and the Mantagua Valley. Crossing the River Aconcagua we follow the shoreline north to Mantagua where both equestrian traditions and rural life are based on the proximity to the sea.

There is a briefing where you will receive safety instructions and the horses’ tack is adjusted to your comfort. Once you have been assigned a horse, guided by a local expert, the adventure begins. We cross the Mantagua estuary and enter the sand dune area of Mantagua. From the dunes you will see views of Con-con to the south and Ritoque to the north.  We will come to close to some special marshland ecosystems with their unique bird and plant life.

Finally we arrive at the Ritoque Beach where more fabulous beachside views of the bay are enjoyed. After a snack lunch, we continue to Santiago Airport or hotel.
